The McIntyre Master Watch was made by Charles DeLong as the Master Example for the watches to be produced at the factory. It is not known how much of the production cutters and other tooling was used in the making of this watch.

This is the only example I have seen with DeLong's diamond crosscut damascening pattern on both plates.

This watch is 25 jewels with DeLong's patented motor barrel and winding indicator mechanisms both jeweled.  The other 21 jewels are standard American jewelling with cap jewels on the pallet and escape wheel arbors.

This is also the only example seen with the McIntyre logo engraved on the plates.

Charles DeLong also engraved the description of the movement on the cuvette. Interestingly, the list of patents for the watch is not complete. The watch also has the patented banking screws and the semi-tangential escapement (distinct from DeLong's later upright escapement).
